The s6-rcd command

The daemon that manages services

s6-rcd is the long-lived process, a.k.a. daemon, that handles the machine state. It reads a compiled service database containing all the service information, and performs service transitions according to commands it receives from the s6-rc client. It is the most complex and most important part of the s6-rc service manager suite.
This document serves as a manual page for s6-rcd.
